The Marykirk Raft race was held on the 16th May - a warm, partially sunny day.
22 Rafts entered, 21 rafts finished. The new start-line at Pert proved to be a success with far easier access to the bankside (the previous accessway is now shut due to storm-damage during the winter).
Over 500 people attended the park event, the bar and burger stall did a roaring trade, and Scotland's largest inflatable slide proved to be a hit.

Prizes will be given at the presentation night on the 18th of June at the Marykirk Hotel - 7pm sharp. This is also when we announce the total raised for charities, and present those charities with their cheques.
