<p>The Marykirk Raft Race Committee would like to remind all of the Quiz night to be held on the 10th December 2011 Starting at 20:00 hrs, be there sharp to get your seat to avoid dissapointment.</p>
<p>Feel free to dress festively as there will be some Christmas questions in there.</p>

<p>The Marykirk Raft Race Committee cannot thank Burlesque enough for providing an exceptional evening of music that had everyone's feet tapping and dancing the night away.</p>
<p>The Committee would also like to say a big thank's everyone who came to the night and to all the people who helped set the Hall up and clean the Hall afterwards.</p>
<p>A big thanks to the people who helped on the Night to ensure a fun enjoyable evening was had by all.</p>

We also thank Charles Gordon who ran our PR for the last two years, but has decided to retire from this committee to focus on other activities.</p>
<p>We have planned:</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Two pub quiz nights - the 22nd of October, and the 10th of December, both at the Marykirk Hotel.</li>
<li>We have booked <a href="http://badlogic.net/burlesque2/about/">Burlesque</a> - a six part band - to play in the Marykirk Hall on November 18th.&nbsp;</li>
<li>And we are in the middle of planning a Ceilidh night in the hall in December. More news on this later.</li>

Prof Harry McArdle did most of the presentation, and announced that we had raised &pound;6,170 this year.
