<p>We are planning another fun packed day for all the family this year with some new ideas and also keeping some of the tried and tested ideas.</p>
<p>The biggest news for rafters this year is we have access to the Marykirk Hall this year which will provide us with Male and Female Toilets and Changing room's, but the best bit is you can all have a<strong> hot shower</strong> after being in the River.</p>

<p>The Marykirk Raft Race Committee cannot thank Burlesque enough for providing an exceptional evening of music that had everyone's feet tapping and dancing the night away.</p>
<p>The Committee would also like to say a big thank's everyone who came to the night and to all the people who helped set the Hall up and clean the Hall afterwards.</p>
<p>A big thanks to the people who helped on the Night to ensure a fun enjoyable evening was had by all.</p>

We also thank Charles Gordon who ran our PR for the last two years, but has decided to retire from this committee to focus on other activities.</p>
<p>We have planned:</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Two pub quiz nights - the 22nd of October, and the 10th of December, both at the Marykirk Hotel.</li>
<li>We have booked <a href="http://badlogic.net/burlesque2/about/">Burlesque</a> - a six part band - to play in the Marykirk Hall on November 18th.&nbsp;</li>
<li>And we are in the middle of planning a Ceilidh night in the hall in December. More news on this later.</li>
